Stay Local – Maps

Where to start?!  The website of where you are staying is often a good place to start...or check out the VisitCornwall website for loads of great ideas...

Essentially have a look round where you're staying when you get here; ask who you're staying with; check out your welcome packs; but importantly, when you're out and about enjoying the outrageous natural landscape and environment that Cornwall has to offer, just make sure that what you're buying for today, or to take home with you, is from someone local (why come to Cornwall and buy something made thousands of miles away?) - whether that's a beautiful picture, a fantastic meal, a satisfying pint, an amazing piece of craftsmanship - or just a postcard. You can see the Made in Cornwall logo everywhere...

The range of products registered with the scheme continues to grow as more and more manufacturers join. The scheme has attracted over 1,000 small, medium and large producers looking to sell good quality, locally made products. These include food, a wide range of crafts, art, toys, clothing, jewellery, furniture, leisure goods - even motorised scooters - many of which are produced using traditional methods.

And if you're not sure - just ask. It makes such a difference to us. Every pound you spend here, on local produce of every sort, is worth its weight in gold to local people in Cornwall. And that's how we keep Cornwall a beautiful place to work - and holiday. It all adds up!

And in the meantime we can bring you more info with the links below..
