When in Rome… – More Info

So a couple of ideas just to whet your appetite...enjoy...

The HEATH...

Do you know what the Heath is? Or where it is? It's really rather remarkable...

The AONB...

Do you know where the AONB is? You might be staying in it...or right next to it...it stands for "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and Cornwall is heaped high with it. If you've stood on a cliff today and your jaw has dropped at the view...or you found yourself in the middle of the most beautiful moor land you can imagine with only the wind for company...you've probably been standing in the AONB. And there's so much more to know...

World Heritage Site...

Did you know that part of Cornwall and Devon have been given World Heritage Site Status? Have a better look at Cornish mining...

And in case you wondered who the faces are behind CoaST, working with you to ensure you have the most fantastic holiday, and leave a great legacy behind you...we're Marja, Manda, Jemma and Jacqui and we work out of a converted barn in the middle of Cornwall, determined to keep Cornwall such an amazing place to live and holiday in. Great to meet you - and to be working with you to do exactly that! Do contact us if you have more ideas as to what we might put on this small site - it's always under review, and we're really keen to hear your ideas. Anything you add to "your ideas" tab at the top will come straight to us. Thank you!

This website has information about projects that have been undertaken by the Historic Environment Service of Cornwall County Council.  It is an experimental site where we are exploring how best to publish project results over the internet. http://www.historic-cornwall.org.uk/index.htm
