The next hundred years are going to see huge changes, socially, economically and, underpinning them all, climatically. I probably won’t be around in 2050, and I certainly won’t be around in 2100, but my two very young grandchildren could well be alive at the start of the 22nd Century.
It is an incredible thought, and I want to feel that I have done something to mitigate, even slightly, the effects of climate change that started during my lifetime. We do not own the world we live in: we just have stewardship of it until we can pass it on to the next generation.
